Jeanette Lyons , born on July 28, 1950, passed away peacefully at her home in Memphis, Tennessee, on September 11, 2025, at the age of 75.

A woman of enduring faith and devotion, Jeanette's life will be honored with a visitation from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 28 at E.H. Ford Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 29 at Middle Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, with a repass to follow at Middle Baptist Church.

Jeanette is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 31 years, Willie Lyons; her caring daughter, Christy Griffin; and her thoughtful grandson, Carlos Trashawn Carter—all of Memphis. She also leaves behind her sister, DeLora Long Gray; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who were touched by her presence.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Hattie B. Long; father, Isaiah Long Sr.; and brother, Isaiah Long Jr.

Jeanette's journey was one guided by faith and love for those around her. As she enters eternal rest, may those who mourn find peace in knowing she is now in the presence of the Lord. Her memory will continue to inspire and comfort all who knew and loved her.
