Life Reflections
On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, the good Lord ushered Norma Jean Walton home to her eternal resting place. On September 24, 1952, Norma was born in Memphis.
Tennessee to the proud parents Roosevelt Walton, Jr "Papa Jack" and Robbie Mae Walton; both who proceeded her in death. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1970.
She worked in the capacity of Social Worker at The King's Daughter's and Son's Nursing Home. She later joined Signature Nursing Home where she retired. She came out of retirement to care for Eva Lee Crump working for Donald and Ramona Crump until she became ill.
Ms. Walton had a personal relationship with the Lord and knew that she was saved.
She last worshipped at True Believers Ministry Church, where she worked tirelessly as head of the Help Ministry.
Norma leaves to cherish her memory: a devoted son, Calvin Walton and daughter in law Kesha; A grandchild, Amaria Walton; two step-grandsons, Kearrion and Darrin; a brother, Charles Fredrick Walton (Jacqueline), three sisters, Linda Milligan (Charlie), Robbie Butler and Brenda Walton (James); nieces, Freda, Regina, Melinda (Eric), Melissa, Reva (Elliot) and Chasity: nephews, Derrick, Brian, Darrell, Antonio, Jeffrey (Britney) and Ronald Michael. * Norma also leaves a host of other relatives, neighbors and friends, who will miss her dearly.
